SHORT-STAY HOME
The Short-stay home is a home for socially neglected women and girls who were thrown out of their houses for various reasons and became homeless girls. The home is functioning from November 2000. Altogether, 30 inmates got admission including few children. We have provided them food, shelter, cloths with recreation and rehabilitation facilities such as Tailoring & Embroidery, Candle making, Knitting and Beautician course. In addition, we have also provided them education to upgrade their present status. Many local and district officials and non- officials visited the home and recorded their appreciation. Some of the women were helped to get jobs in small-scale industries and other commercial establishments. This short stay home is gaining good momentum attracting unfortunate women for rehabilitation all over the state.
